WOW! The best movie of 2012, hands down. I've watched it 3 times already. The first time, I was alone, and I was speechless at the end. Then, I watched it with my sis just to see her reaction and her mind blown. The last time I watched it with one of my dear friends and he was amazed too.

This is a great movie and it will be remembered and discussed for years to come. Kudos to Leos Carax.

Agreed. I loved it. Someone else I know hated it with as much vigor as I adored it. It inspires some pretty heated debates.

I don't understand how a film like this could have any haters. It's a weird, experimental film for people who like that sort of thing. It's for people who love film and who believe there's still some mystery left in film.

That sounded like my end of the argument- my opponent called it "self indulgent crap".
I disagreed vehemently. Oh well, what can you do- everyone has an opinion.

The fact that such a terrible imdb poster (the OP) loved this movie practically proves that it's not good.

I didn't care for this film at all. It practically didn't inspire or move me in at all, intellectually or emotionally. It only illicited the occasional chuckle at the absurdity on screen -- and that's not worth much in the end. I'm all for art films that you don't fully understand upon first viewing, I'm all for absurdity, but this wasn't even tantalizing.

Unintelligible simply for the sake of being unintelligible? I think so. What good does that do anybody?

I don't know- I saw a little something more than absurdity in it --but then again I was the only fan of this movie in a group of people who are usually really open to films from way off the beaten path.

However I'm very surprised that you liked The Master so much, if you disliked Holy Motors I thought you would dislike The Master too.
