Pretentious has to be the most overused word on this forum? Has lost all meaning by now.
For me this kind of film makes a mockery of trying to rate a film as good or bad, it plays with convention and plays and interacts with the audiences expectations in a way that ambitious French films have done for decades, I dont think it cares how its objectively viewed. Some things in it resonated with me but even if to me some things didnt surely the originality on offer can be appreciated
