Doppelgangers?

I didn't get the part with the banker. The movie starts with Mr. Oscar dressed as the banker. We have to assume this is part of another appointment from the day before. He talks to someone on the phone concerning guns for protection.
Later that day we see the same person (the real banker?) sitting at a restaurant and Mr. Oscar executes him. Does anybody has an explanation for the dual character?
Also the guy in the warehouse, that Mr. Oscar kills and makes to look like him.

I'm not totally sure, but I felt as if part of his job was being a hit-man of sorts and was assigned people that looked like him to kill. After killing them, he would assume their character to make it look as if they were alive but it was merely him acting out their role.

But he assumed the role of the banker a day before he killed him.
