If he knew Kylie was going to reincarnate, then why was he so disgusted?

Was it because we are still traumatized when we see people die who we know will return? Is it indicative of that and the emotions connected to each body? Or was there something deeper, something about a "final fall."

Also, I loved the last assignment. Not everyone reincarnates. And those of us who do are sometimes stuck in families with primates, with beasts of the field instead of incarnated old souls. I feel bad for those people, I can't imagine what it must be like to be an alien who marries an ape.
