Is this the stabbiest show in TV history?

I just finished the series, and while the stabbings seemed to decrease in season three, I still can't think of another show that featured so many people getting knifed. Even vampire shows don't seem to have as much stabbing. Does any other show even come close?

You are so right. I don't mind person getting shot on tv, but stabbings make me feel super uncomfortable, this is why I started hating this show when it was on air. The depiction of constant explicit murder scenes was disturbing.

From what I've seen in entertainment, they say knives are more personal, which makes sense, which is probably why it gets so disturbing.

In serial-killer lingo, the "most piqueristic?" Yes, it *has* to be!

I remember this term being used by someone to describe Joe, but being dismissed by Ryan as too simplistic a term for him. Well, it isn't too simplistic a term for the show.

I dont know about all of TV history, but its definitely the most violent show I've ever seen on public television. Normally you have to go to FX or HBO or Showtime to get this much blood.
Am very surprised its only TV-14. I understand they want to appeal to a wider audience, but if this were a movie I promise it would be rated R.

What about Hannibal? That was on regular TV. Man eating humans.......vomit
