Dumb move for the networks to not give endings to serial shows

This only makes the next show less likely to be successful.
It's one (of many) reasons people didn't watch THIS show in the first place.
If they were smart, they would give the makers of the show an opportunity to do one series finale, even if it's just put on the internet or something.

All the networks have done this so many times, that many people don't even want to start watching a serial show because unless it's super popular (or even sometimes when it is), they will just cancel it with no resolution.
It isn't just the cancelling part that upsets people, it's the lack of resolution.

I'm not even a fan of this show (I stopped watching halfway through season 2) but I see what they do as being really dumb.

I think they should at least give them a chance to wrap the show up as well, better if they do it a little quicker than planned vs just cancelling... I don't think it's a very smart move either but I'm not an accountant. One thing they still can do(which ive seen done) is make a feature film or tv movie to wrap up the show but I hope it doesn't become standard thing for tv show producers to do. Anyways, I'm a bit dissapointed in the cancellation, partly because I got into the show late...

Ah so it was cancelled before they could do a proper ending :( I haven't seen this show, but thought it sounded pretty good so was going to give it a go, but I'm very wary of watching "cancelled half way through" shows now because they end on massive cliffhanger :/ does it have any kind of wrap-up at the end or is it likely to leave me with too many questions?

it was on its way to possibly wrapping up, but was left very open and unfinished... they could at least make a movie to wrap it up i guess...
