Rachel ...does she really think she is one of the good people.

I know about the blurred lines, i watch SPN, but what i don't understand is how Rachel is supposed to be one of the good people. How is she so different from Monroe. She killed many people killing the power so her son could live. Then she went on a rampage trying to kill Monroe, saying sentences like she doesn't care about people she just wants to kill Monroe.... she was so ruthless and a bitch. Then in season 2 they want to sell her as one of the good people. I just don't get it. She is just as bad, the part where she says she is not going to allow kids to die because her kid was collateral damage was laughable...how many kids did she kill so her kid could live.

Please if you disagree with me avoid being rude.

While Monroe and Rachel are very similar.. Monroe in season 1 was brutal. He killed people including families with children. In a flash back we see coffins of a family, the father had done something wrong but Monroe killed his children too because of it. So we see just how cruel he is. He murdered people where as Rachel didn't technically murder anyone. Her creation of the nano may have killed thousands of people and made the world in turmoil but she wasn't the one that turned the power off she just helped create this thing.. the military I believe or perhaps the president during the flashback that we saw pushed for the power to turn off with the nano.. so many people were in on this but I don't think at that time she realized the extent of what would happen when the lights turned off for good, during the flashbacks you can see she wasn't sure herself of shutting the power off. When the bombs went off at the end of season 1... you can see in the beginning of season 2 how messed up she became because of all the people that were killed in it. So she has guilt, has a heart and she regrets it. Monroe has no regrets.

You're perhaps right about her not knowing the extent of her actions , and how her turning off the power would lead to chaos. However, during season one, when she was partnering up with Aaron to go to the Dark Tower she was completely devoid of any emotion, she told Aaron she is not doing it for any other reason other than killing Monroe, and she did not give a damn about the kid who was dying. She had no qualms on killing people in cold blood to achieve vengeance. Then season 2 she changes completely and she is sold as a hero. i have a problem with that. She has always been ruthless ...given what we know about her history. Don't sell her as mother Theresa, it doesn't make any sense.

I think she was just trying to be a better person because of the past. Just like Miles was trying to be a better person, he was just as bad if not worse than Monroe when the Republic was running. But going back to the kid she let die on the way to the tower, she said the infection had already gotten to the organs and there was no way of saving him, if the kid died on their watch, they would have been dead by the father. So I don't see it as her killing him, she just didn't/couldn't save him. And yeah after Danny died, she was mourning the death of her son so of course her vengeance is on Monroe at that time. I liked the shift of character in season 2 though, it was nice seeing her change after everything that has happened.

is moronic to believe she is responsible for all those deaths simply because she created a devise that lead to those deaths

we do not blame to inventor of the gun for all the deaths at the hand of the gun. we do not blame the inventor of the car for all the deaths that have happened because of bad drivers

why should we blame her for creating a devise she created for clean sustainable energy when it was the government in the show that shut the power out

I can understand Rachel blaming herself for all the deaths. Oppenheimer said "I have become death, destroyer of worlds." after he built the bomb.
