Fun Musical with Little Substance
I liked the movie and was glad to have seen it. They did a good job integrating the music into the story, and I thought the transitions were fantastic. It was well-directed, had some great visual scenes, however, it's honestly just not much of a story to tell. If you want to just go be entertained for a couple hours watching the rise of this musician, it's a great time. If you're looking for more I think it comes up a little short.
