I completely disagree. I thought it was fantastic. Taron Egerton did a great job as Sir Elton and they did a really good job of using his music to tell the story.

Today I practically dragged my sister to see Rocketman. She has been an Elton John fan longer than I have and I have been a fan longer than most people have been alive. She assured me that although Bohemian Rhapsody was very good, Rocketman is far superior.
