But 5 for the extreme sports. This was a very bad and unnecessary remake of a really really good original movie. So 5 out of 10.......... No more.

shareYea, can't really argue. This was the first film that I shut off prematurely in quite some time. Could only make it 40 minutes before I switched the channel. The 1-star cable rating was pretty spot on I guess. I can excuse some smaller budget films a little more, but there were really no excuses for this film. The fact they decided to remake an original and charming film with such flashy drivel was the biggest offense imho. It doesn't matter how many awesome toppings you put on a $hit sandwich...
