What the hell was that?
There was no story. No acting. No plot line. Pappas comes out of no where. I'm just not sure what that was.

shareVery little redeemable about this movie. Hollywood needs to stop remaking classics and come up with some new ideas.
Screws fall out all of the time. The world's an imperfect place.
That or just stick to what works. Why do these writers and directors have to "make it their own"? They are an out of touch crowd thinking they will hit what young people like and produce crap. The whole point of a remake is to capture young and old audiences. The ones who remember the original and those who are just experiencing it. They fail so hard in these remakes. The style is always the same. They'd rather film something cool than tell a quality story...
shareThe original point break is a silly Action movie.not great, not groundbreaking. But memorable, even with Keanu "I am A FBI agent" reeves. But this movie I can find no redeeming factors therein...
shareI agree. The original was silly, but somehow it works. It's fun and enjoyable even with Canoe. And there were quite a few scenes that were great, so I can see why it worked then and still does.
This new one is brutal. I gave up after about an hour, which is rare for me.
What are you talking about... the plot and storyline followed an upcoming FBI agent chasing a group of people set out to seek pure Nirvana. I hate when people say there was no story... Even if someone took a crap on a toilet for 90 minutes, there's still a story.
