Is it true that the FBI would investigate robberies in Mumbai?


They give some reasoning like "it's a majority owned US firm" or something. I find that dubious.

Well for one, it would be the CIA investigating anyway, not the FBI. FBI made sense in the first movie because the surfers were USA criminals robbing banks in USA.

I don't think they would investigate for the things we saw. If a US company wants to outsource to dangerous areas in foreign countries, they are taking a risk. The CIA is not a private security firm that will come in and investigate if they get robbed. I think the CIA would only get involved if it was a major terrorist attack or a string of crimes that were very specifically targeting Americans or CIA interests. I don't think that a couple random attacks with no clear motive or suspects would count.

Beyond anything else that's my biggest problem with this POS.
The ridiculous shooting locations masquerading as other countries and the universal jurisdiction of the FBI.
Absolute garbage.
