The dialog was so cheesy it was almost comedic: "Don't let me down Utah, my ass is on the line". Every line in the first third of the movie feels like a parody action flick, like Kung Fury.
Gave it a 5 for the stunts, the beautiful scenery and the unintentional comedy.
I concur. So bad and so insulting to the original film but yet it has its charm with some awesome set pieces, cinematography and stunt work, but still awful. Maybe a guilty pleasure, though like the Poltergeist remake.

shareI think it crossed the line of being so bad its good its back to bad. Not being self aware in any way really hurt this movie. Not that it needed to be remade to begin with. But these remakes need to stop taking themselves so seriously and try to inject more fun.
