It wasn't THAT bad!
I've just finished watching it, I quite enjoyed it, i knew beforehand that the critics didn't like it, but I didn't think it had 9% on RT. I'm a huge fan of the original and dislike remakes as much as the next person but did it really deserve all the hate it got from critics and audiences? Sure it wasn't perfect, it had a few one dimensional characters and the last act felt rushed, but it had a lot of great moments and set pieces.
