shareYes quit trying to remake old classics ... Original point great was good in a cheesey 80s sort of way and cant be remade.
!980's movies will never be out done ... so many have stood the test of time. Now its just Comic Book ; Kids Animation, Sequels or poor attempts at remakes.
Hollywood has died in regards to originality and quality.
Not completely, have you seen Us, The Invisible Man, Annihilation, Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, Bad Times at the El Royale, Let Him Go, Joker, Detroit, Dunkirk, Wind River, First Man, Sicario, Hell or High Water, The Gift, The Revenant, Gone Girl?
shareYeah, there are plenty of quality movies coming out beyond superhero/animation/sequels/remakes, if you search for them. It's foolish to write 'em all off as worthless.
shareRight? There are a lot of good, original films that come out every single year. Films that people ignore & then complain about lack of originality.
It's not that they want original films, they just want to bitch & moan about whatever blockbusters/franchises that are popular at the time
Be it Transformers, Fast & Furious or Superhero films. Those make up like literally a small fraction of the films released in a calendar year.
