I'm curious.. how did she manage to lose her sight in the beginning? It made no sense to me. Sorry if this is a rather stupid question, but I got confused. Thank you anyone for helping me.

shareI agree the scene wasn't the best communicated, especially she's so gorgeous after with no indication of scarring or explosive trauma to her skin or face.
But yeh beyond those details, it was the flash of the bomb she was looking directly into the explosion - directly at that baby - and that blinded her
