Something no one is talking about... (spoilers)

Not sure I quite got that part but why were there other cases with the medication she was taking. Her case would never hold water if those side effects weren't happening to other people as well. Were they just fabricated or manipulated accounts of people killing in their sleep under the influence of the drug?

reply

There may have been other cases of sleepwalking, without associated violence.

But if you remember back to the movie there were cases of violence while sleepwalking. A man killed his wife in his sleep and threw her body in the trunk of his car. Either the drug worked or it was a manufactured story.

Doesn't matter. She wasn't really taking the drug. Recall the scene toward the end when they show her dumping the whole of capsules (apparently Ablixa) into the toilet.

reply

She didn't take the Paxil or Zoloft but she HAD to take the Ablixa (and admits to it later in the film), knowing that her blood would be checked for it after being arrested for the killing.

They're not fabricated, they happened for real, and both victims were acquitted. Dr Banks was a mere vector in the grand scheme of things, but he fooled them both at the end.
