new trailer

shareHard to be sure from quick cuts in a trailer, but Ryder looks to be dramatically over-acting in every scene of this.
shareTrue but I dont think she has ever been hotter.
I like the trailer, Keaton seems less energetic than in the original but I dont care, it's age, ghost trains and creepy funerals are great. I like the look 100%.
Ryder has aged well.
shareThey definitely all look great and I agree that Keaton's age does show in the energy level department. My only actual complaint with the trailer is as the poster below me points out, really heavy on callbacks. The problem with such a thing is most of us fans never stopped watching these original movies. We watch them over and over again still. Nostalgic callbacks are unwelcome.
shareI dont mind them, if they have Beetlejuice lifting up a dead chicks skirt with a stick I will still laugh. Hopefully the two or three call backs we saw in the trailer are the only ones and it is just for the nostalgia factor because it is a trailer and condensed.
Its still better than the shit we usually get from sequels to films 20-30 years in the past.
Catherine O'Hara still looks great.
shareTrailer is extremely heavy on callbacks to the first movie. Hopefully it's not just a bunch of "remember this from the original?" remixes.
shareDid Keaton forgot the voice he used for Beetlejuice? I only heard his Beetle voice when he said "the juice is loose", right after that he talked mostly with his Keaton voice.
shareBellucci looks gorgeous!
Looks like DeVito at 1:30.
It actually didn't look too bad. I wasn't expecting Jenny Ortega to be in this, but she's perfect as Lydia's daughter :) And Winona Ryder has done well keeping up the Lydia persona. Keaton will do fine in this. Nobody's gonna even notice Beetlejuice got older, considering he was already creepy and ugly even in the original movie. In a strange turn events, I actually was surprised when I heard how much fun Keaton had with the character, because Beetlejuice is so different from Batman. I mean, one is a serious, brooding hero, and the other is a crazy, chaotic, trouble-making prankster ghost with supernatural powers.
Ohhh my....I just realized...I am so glad Beetlejuice and the Joker live in separate universes! Could you imagine the havoc those two would have wreaked if they had ever met and teamed up?! :O

I kinda want that movie...
Looks pretty good.
Nice cast.
