Brainwashed Christians Praising a Film About a Deranged Man

Trust me, I'm a Christian, and if I ever saw a guy like that on my doorstep, I'd call the cops.

Both this movie and Fifty Shades of Grey are creepy and disturbing. What kind of Christian filmmaker would want to cash in on Fifty Shades of Grey anyway?! 

The most off base comment I've ever seen.

Quoted for the truth. Let us recap how disturbing and borderline psychotic this godly man is:

1)He won't be alone with a member of the opposite gender in the same room. Yes. Despite being a landlord, this upstanding fellow forces the girl to wait outside in the cold while he fixes her stove. This behavior is never corrected either, the movie reinforces the idea that doing this is perfectly fine.

2)He asks her horribly intrusive questions on their first dates. These include asking about her prior sexual experience, about her experience in child rearing, and other things that are none of his bloody business anyway. He is taking these questions from a book that actually exists, which is even worse.

3)He takes her to watch his friend's kid on their very first date in order to see how she interacts with children, cf with point 2. This leads to his supervising how she cuts food to feed to infants.

4)He makes jokes when she tells him about the abusive ex-boyfriend who broke her wrist because she was 'wearing the wrong color of nail polisher'. To this he replies something like, 'that depends on the color'. Keep it classy.

5)He gets all pissy when invited to a bachelor's party that includes a stripper. Not only does he ruin the party for everyone as he cheats her and her bouncer of their money. If you're going to act like a deluded white knight then you should be able of putting your money where your mouth is.

6)He proposes to the girl in a baby food aisle in a grocery store. Let that sink in for a bit. A baby food aisle. When won't he just hire a womb and be done with it?
