I thought The Pact was really good. It was slow in parts but when it worked it worked well. Several times I was audibly like " Oh F that!!!" which is always a good sign of a scary movie. Anyways, what is your favorite all time movie involving a ghost? I think mine would be Insidious. Im sure there are better films but I personally enjoy it the most.

No lie: movie called Ghost Story from the early 80s, starring (an old) Fred Astaire. Gives me the creeps every time!
shareThe Pact would probably be high up on my list. As for all time favorite probably the Japanese version of Dark Water, although I've only watched it once (depressed me for a couple of days, lol). And possibly Sinister as a close second.

I find it interesting that The Others is on this list so often considering The Pact and The Others are very different films. However, both are excellent films.
The Others is one of my all time favorite too. But this one is 100x scarier and really takes the cake for one of the most horrifying movies I've ever seen.
Does "The Haunting" count? The 1963 version, of course, not the "remake".
Oh, and "The Innocents" was fabulous.
