probably the most unchristmassy movie taking place around christmas...

so there was a christmas song in the background at one scene and at one point the little girl from the neighborhood was wishing a "merry christmas".
apart from this, you would not have guessed that this movie takes place around the festive season...

I don't know, the mothers' house had a Christmas tree so I figured it was around Christmas. I loved the fact that Annie didn't even acknowledge the holidays, as she had a really crappy childhood, made sense.
