I overheard a black woman angry at the term "white teeth" as it put whites in a positive light. Speaking loudly, arms waving, the entire restaurant hearing her. Her "sisters" nodding in unison.
I wonder if a white person had done the same regarding "Black Friday"
Oh, for the Love of God.. No way.. This has to be fake news?? LOL!!! And regarding Black Friday?? I'm honestly surprised they haven't tried to rename Black Friday to something else citing it's Racist and white people made up the term?? Forget about the fact the term has been around even through 2 Terms of Obama and no one had a problem with it, but still.. This is 2023 now where everyone is offended

This lowering of blackness on the spectrum with regards to value was developed further in the wake of the transatlantic slave trade but it also predates that.
Black, negro, became associated with a particular group of people, and that group of people received all that negative connotation.
What are we supposed to call them? Color-absent teeth?
