Was this film's best Oscar for best film racially motived?

I don’t think 12 years a slave was worthy that year of best film Oscar. I think its win was partly motivated by white guilt.

You're wrong.

I find Oscar Bait infinitely more interesting than ticket bait

If you specifically feel the need to question whether this Oscar was probably motivated by unwarranted "white guilt", then it's only fair that you've also asked how many of the previous 85 were similarly probably motivated by unwarranted "white supremacy". Otherwise, that makes you something along the lines of a knee-jerk, reactionary, racist a-hole for asking one and not the other.

Sooooo...have you?😉

It's racially motivated crap that is wearing thin this year. Look at this year's Oscar presentation.

reply

It was. The oscars are also industry awards. It was given best picture to also recognize Brad Pitt's higher status and career accomplishments. Angelina Jolie won an honorary Oscar at the governor awards the same year.

reply

It won cuz it's a flawless film
