This movie is one of the greatest movies ever made. It's story is flawless and the acting is grand plus the emotion and score just make it even better. It shows what America once was and how far we have come. Tho I am American Indian . This movie should make all Americans proud that we have come far after slavery . Sure improvement is still needed. But still. 10/10

the ending is flat. The director decided to focus on the sweet reunion with his family rather than the important fact that even though he was free the rest would remain enslaved suffering for more than a decade more. Spoiled the movie
