I think it be nice to do a follow up on Patsey and how she made it to freedom during the civil war.

It would be interesting to see if patsy killed edward and his wife out of revenge and played a role in the movement for freedom.

No, because most likely she DIDN'T make it to freedom. Nobody has any clue what happened to her. Epps could have killed her for all anyone knows.
