This certainly deserves the big prize this year ! Not a bad moment, editing, acting....absolutely perfect.
Deals with a really difficult subject from every possible angle with such care and precision. I certainly hope it gets distribution and a great audience the world over. Definitely not to be missed.
Wow - I agree. The five year old girl deserves a special award. Above all I would say Screenplay. There was never a plot twist that didn't surprise me. I want to sleep on this, but I think it's the best writing I've ever seen in a movie. A masterpiece.

I ended up winning best actress at the European Film Awars with out of 6 nominations in total. I thought it also deserved best editing.
shareIt's in the final 9 for Foreign Film, and has a pretty good shot of making the cut. I would be ecstatic to see it get a best actress nominee, but that has a 0% chance of happening unless the film makes the cut .

The plot sometimes ranged from incredibly predictable (the dead bird => their daughter dying was the most obvious foreshadowing of all time) to just random (that cringe worthy Alabama Monroe *beep* I like the movie, but there's been less lazy and more sensible writing this year for sure.
