What a wonderful movie from start to finish. The ending was perfect! [spoiler]The song Sand Mountain was a beautiful tribute to Didier's wife Elise, who changed her name to Alabama. You may not know, Sand Mountain is a sandstone plateau in Alabama. Didier acknowledges his wife's change with this moving bluegrass tribute! And when you see Elise's tattoo you really know she loved Didier and Maybelle more than anyone else, which is what all of us look for at one time or another. Also, as the band is playing there is a shot of the heart beat going down on the heart monitor which really hits you.
I wish more movies could be like this film. See this movie if you can.

This is a beautiful contribution. I didn't notice it. Thank you so much :) It really is a wonderful movie, and I hope the film industry takes more steps into these genres because they explore reality and life as it really is ..

Loved the music. but I wished they had gone to grief therapy and gone through all the pain and gotten through it. I would have though the husband would have fallen apart not the wife. I would be awful to lose a child.
