It's a classic example of cinematic projection, where the viewer is invited to write his own interpretation. When watching it, I felt that she was just releasing him from responsibility, and asking him to let her go.

I'm REALLY not sure how to take your last post. I thought I was just adding friendly banter to your post about projection, which joked about my use of the word in another, correct in the case, way.
Assuming, perhaps, that you didn't understand, I'll explain. When we didn't hear what was being said, we, the viewers, can project our own thoughts and desires, and interpret the scene as such. That's a basic cinematic tool, that Hitchcock understood, and exploited. It's like the end of Queen Christina, where an expressionless Garbo looks off into the distance, and we read what we want into her look.
So, I assumed you were making a joke, especially with the note about being a projectionist in the school film club. When you repeated a similar comment, I assumed you we're still joking, and I went along with it.
It's possible that your recent "I've been disrespected" post is another joke, I don't know. I'll open myself to possible abuse by accepting the possibility that it wasn't a joke, and express to you my utter lack of desire to troll, or to disrespect ANY other user. Just look at my posting history to see that.

By neutrally observing your conversation it clearly looked like you are in the habit of entrapping people to "insult" you so that you can "honor" them by adding them to your ignore list, which certainly cannot contain only "3 jerks".
