An Accurate Review

"Besides a few respectable performances from a more-than-respectable cast, all “Conclave” has to offer is a rather predictable plot, cardboard characters, and a whole lot of cliches and stereotypes. The problem here is not that it is full of bias against the Catholic Church. The problem is that it is just plain bad."

I wouldn't consider that an accurate review at all. The film is getting a lot of great reviews and is widely expected to get multiple nominations. The cinematography, production design, costumes and score are all excellent. The screenplay is sharply written and the film is entertaining.

We disagree on this one. You have almost 11,000 posts. Didn't plan ahead well with that username did you. ;D

It's an inside joke.

OP is a little disingenuous. Angelus News is a Catholic news platform. Just a wee bit biased.

Megyn Kelly must be the last person not to know the plot of this movie. She agreed about the clichés and stereotypes. She thought it was a perfectly awful movie, and a slam against Catholics everywhere to release it the week before Christmas.

BTW, DonenWoods13, folks are beginning to say they would appreciate a site that let folks know if a movie was "woke" or not. You watch a lot of movies -- I don't, or I'd do it -- when you watch a movie, you could give it a review on a 0 to 10 scale of whether it's woke or not, so people who want to avoid that sort of thing can simply avoid it.
