hardy is epic and miike is epic! i mean the story sounds very intriguing and the screenplay was on the black list so it is currently all promising! filming begins in january!
shareLike Netflix’s recent “Mute” (which was highly anticipated), “The Outsider” is proving to be another disappointment. Unlike the cyberpunk film though, it isn’t a total surprise Leto’s film is underwhelming.
Ah well, still gonna give it a watch.
I actually liked it. There are many things I liked, like the music, setting, atmosphere, acting, even the slow burn but it dragged at times. I give it a 7.9.

I can't tell if giving our main character no backstory was a good thing or a bad thing.
It was a good thing, except, the character didn't do anything profound for that to make much impact on you. Yes, it was like watching some random go through the motions. I was let down but still amazed by Leto's performance nonetheless.
