I DROVE ALL THE WAY TO WASILLA TO SEE FROZEN GROUND

THE DRIVE WAS WORTH IT, TO SEE FROZEN GROUND IN WASILLA TODAY. IF YOU LIVE IN ALASKA, YOU KNOW HOW INCONVENIENT IT IS TO DRIVE ALL THE WAY TO WASILLA FROM ANCHORAGE TO SEE A MOVIE. WITHIN 10 TO 15 MINUTES ANCHORAGE LOCALS CAN REACH ALMOST ANY DESTINATION. SO, THE ALMOST I HOUR DRIVE TO WASILLA WAS NOT VERY EASY TO MAKE. GREAT ACTING, I ALSO ENJOYED SEEING MY BEAUTIFUL ALASKA ON THE BIG SCREEN.

From Anchorage? That's like an hour drive. It's hardly inconvenient. But yeah, I wish they had released it in some of the local places. Bear Tooth would have been perfect for it. Or hell, even Totem.

OP: WHY ARE YOU YELLING?!

I too am about to make the arduous journey to the tiny village known as Wasilla to see a movie I have so looked forward to. I have read some disappointing reviews but I have to see it for myself. I'll make a day of it, dinner and a movie with the wife. In a far away land.

Agree with you Genious, Bear Tooth should have screened it. Maybe they tried to get it and it didn't work out.

Y'all hear that? We're using code names.

Please... for the love of god... stop the use of CAPS.

It's annoying and it makes you look stupid.

Oh, perhaps you are stupid.

Could you see Russia from where you were in Wasilla?

reply

lol-I was gonna say that-

I hope your keyboard thaws out eventually and you can depress that caps button

+1 rep xD

OMG, no way! You had to drive an hour once? I used to drive this drive, Wasilla to Anchorage every day...

Off the subject, I HAVE seen Russia from Alaska! I was working at Tin City on the far west tip and took a six wheeler to the nearby village of Wales. On a clear day, you can see Big Diomede Island from there, which is Russia.

I wasn't aware of the limited theatrical release. Seems to me the Tikahtnu theater on Muldoon, the largest one in the city, would have been the first to show the movie!

Nevertheless, I'm sitting in my room in Barrow watching it on DVD. Anchorage looks glamorous in this movie, even though it is a small city, even today!
