Nicolas Cage, Robert Hansen's story... that sounded great and I wanted to wait for this movie.
Then the poster was out, and there was the moment of reading "and starring Fiddy Kent" on it. Good bye, no longer interested.
Odd poster. The poster I saw had Fifty Cent.
He has about 4 minutes of screen time in a 1 hour and 40 minute movie. Movie was very good

While I agree 50 cent is not an actor I want to see in any movie yet I think you should give it a shot. It is a slow developing movie but has an interesting story to tell and the performances by Cage, Cusack, and particularly Hudgens were quite good.
I would not dismiss it based solely on 50 cent being in it as he does not have a large role.
