Holly

Why does Holly so opinionated, about everything. She throws a fit if she does not get her way. Like Jill said "we must bow down to Holly"

reply

Because they are real life all mean girls. Even the new moms.

reply

Besides opinionated, Holly's delusional! She expects Abby to take Nia in consideration even if she doesn't have the skill to perform a particular role in a dance; solo or group! She said it herself, she can't commit as much as the other girls with doctor's appt. and outside interests that Abby's not managing! What is Abby supposed to do? She has a hard enough time with groups and the occasional solo, Holly wants more! She saw what happened with Maddie and MacKenzie and thinks the same can be done with little difference in effort! Ridiculous!  

Nia herself has shown that she has talent, strength, intelligence and great potential in expressing character, supporting her team mates both on stage and off, and in defending her position to Abby and others. All this indicates that Holly is anything but delusional in her support and defense of Nia. Abby herself understands that Nia is someone who quietly commands respect and actual communication. So I disagree strongly regarding both the negative assessment of Nia's talents and of the negative assessment of Holly's opinion of her daughter.

reply

May not be necessarily a negative opinion; just the truth! There's a true lack of commitment no matter what we've seen and heard! That dance star potential isn't there; sorry!  

Clearly not the case since Nia is taking acting lessons, which will only enhance her dancing potential, and since we have seen her give her all in group, duets and solos. I see no lack of commitment, and am unsure where you do. Sorry!😎😎

reply

If you say so! I think Nia's going to be like her mother; a little big to be jumping around on her toes! She may not be fat, but she's certainly thicker and less graceful than Bryn, Lilli, and the other girls! It's not her fault; just maybe a wrong vocation! Acting is fine; leave the dance to people a little lighter on their feet!   

Not necessarily so, as I've previously posted to this board videos of men and women of many different body types dancing with great skill, grace and complexity. If Nia wants to be a dancer, she need only dance in the style best suited for her. If she would rather use her dancing experience to enhance her acting skill, that would be fine as well. Nia and her mother are both intelligent enough to find the best way for her to go. She is extremely young and has plenty of time to figure out if she even wants to stay in the performing arts; and if she does, which way is best for her.
