Did they even go to nationals last season?

I'm watching the reruns before tonight's new episode and Abby keeps emphasizing what a big deal nationals is, just like she's done in the past. That got me thinking, did they even go to nationals in season 6? I know in every other season, she makes a big deal about it because it's like the culmination of their entire competition season, but in season 6, it was like they were more preoccupied with Maddie & Mackenzie leaving. I'd thought the last competition they were in was nationals, but I don't remember if they ever mentioned it or not. And then in the 2nd half of season 6, when the mini team went up against the junior elites, I don't recall anyone saying anything about nationals - it was more like the mothers vs Abby. I guess since this is the final season, they wanted to try and get as close to the original feel of the show as possible, which meant one more trip to nationals.
