While I think Lilli is adorable and sweet and oh so quiet. I do not understand how she keeps winning first overall high scores. Maybe at a gymnastics competition but not dance. Her last dance was all acro. There was no dancing in it. So, how does she keep winning. I've seen her dance in duos and group dances and she's really good but her solos rarely feature any dancing.
shareBecause they're not real competitions and organized just for the show. Any competition that compares the performance of 7 year olds to 13 year olds (Brynn) has no legitimacy (I don't care if they're "overall highs", do we compare heavyweight boxers to middleweights?).
It's not like she didn't dance very well; with great face which is what Abby wanted! A couple years ago MacKenzie beat out her sister once and Chloe another time when she danced very well, but obviously a lot younger!

They want the mainstream name recognition. You think anyone would know Maddie's name if she just danced with Sia on tour? Nope. But since she was on DM is was good cross promotion.
