When I heard that Abby Lee maybe going to jail the first thing that popped into my head was: I bet all of the moms are smiling and thinking "Karma is biting Abby in the @ss right now for the way she treated us and our daughters over the years!"

Each side benefited and profited off their dysfunctional relationship. The show was approved to be changed from an initial 6 episode docu-series to a full reality show because producers thought Abby's train wreck personality was bankable. None of the moms could've individually flown to Hollywood and convince them to make the show. Abby was the reason Dance Moms happened and each mom got tremendous exposure for their kids and turned them into social media stars, making money from youtube views, personal appearances, and product endorsements.
Abby financially benefited from the kids by taking them on meet and greet tours here and internationally. The situation was switched in this case. No one paid for her expensive masters classes to hear Abby speak, they all wanted a chance to meet and take pics with the girls. If only she was transparent about the insane money she was making she could've avoided her legal troubles and everyone walk away rich. Greed got her.
