She's a lousy dance teacher! She doesn't win so she sounds delusional flying across the country trying to prove something to Abby! It's ridiculous; no matter how much they're paying to make an arse of herself! How often can you be proved to be inferior and a rotten teacher? She had Kendall and still never came close to overcoming ALDC for the most part! 

Her students stopped wanting to be on the show after S2 so to protect her business she stopped inviting any of her real students to be on.

Heck Cathy quit the show and they are so desperate for viewers they asked for her back.

Kathy couldn't win with her own students. She had to get others to try to win. Same reason she kept hiring outside choreographers.

She was actually the first person hired to be on the show, before Abby and the girls from ALDC and their moms.
Kathy always want to continue with the show because she said that she wanted the paychecks.

Her students didn't wanted to be on the show. (Smart if you ask me). Kathy also is better than Abby it's very sad how fans of the show are so biased, some even say Abby is a better choreographer than Molly Long, please you have to be kidding me!

Her students did start out dancing on the show. She has one of her students that she's taught for years dancing this year on an episode. Also, her daughter Vivi will dance next week.
Cathy is no where as talented as Abby.

As others have said her dancers didn't want to be accociated with the show much like real competitions didn't after S2.

I LOVE Cathy and can't wait for her episodes to air over here! Just wish Christi and Kelly were back so can listen to the funny banter between all 3 ladies as they were hilarious. The producers rig the comps so ALDC win against Cathy.. she is definitely a better teacher than Abby.

Actually speaking of Cathy, does anyone remember that choreo Anthony she was working with? I see he is now working with Mariah Carey and her tours - wonder how MC compares to Cathy in the demand department lol

You related to the old bag? Cathy's dreck doesn't compare to Abby's efforts; even if you don't particularly care for Abby! The crap Cathy produced was an absolute joke; not to mention trying to force Vivi to be an integral part of the team! You have got to be kidding me!  Some of the banter was amusing, but by season 4, it was pretty much disgusting; being so profane in front of those children! My mother would have killed b!tches talking like that around me! They didn't do it and expected anyone in their company to be just as respectful! Christi and Kelly can embarrass themselves all they want with their filthy mouths, drunken behavior, and lousy dispositions! It's no wonder Kelly was "laughed" out of court by the judge when she thought she could sue! Kelly was judged to be the cause of her kids nervousness and paranoia! 

Oh Fiero I knew my post would attract a reply from you... like clock work 

My opinion is different to yours so I must be related to Abby?  You are so delusional if you don't think that the producers rigged the show to make Cathy's team lose most of the time... no one will watch Dance Moms if the girls lost to a rival studio 

Kids today hear swear words on the tv all the time..the days of kids not swearing are long gone. It might have been disgusting to YOU but again; MY opinion is that it was hilarious and no opinion is wrong.. see how that works?? 

Profanity can be hilarious, but it gets rather redundant at times! Swearing just to be swearing because they're unable to articulate their feelings with some modicum of decorum is just so beneath society IMO! Jill's the most disgusting and her daughter Kendall will be "one piece of work" and hard to handle after she grows up! Both are as delusional and crazy as squirrel $#!t! See, that's funny! Jill's just a pathetic, stupid animal! 

I never said that profanity was hilarious, I said the exchanges between them were hilarious - the funny insults, the comebacks (like Cathy calling Christi a disco ball or the one about her nose belonging to whoville) but again the kids hear more swear words these days than they did in the past.. I wouldn't be surprised if the kids themselves swore away from the cameras especially Kendall.. she has major attitude even towards Jill.

Any way as I said it's my opinion so if you don't agree that's cool, that's why opinions are never wrong :)

Cathy goes too far with her nastiness and provocations, and I don't find it remotely entertaining. This is the last season of DM abd I wish the focus could be on the kids, not this nonsense.

I'm also really confused why her studio sign says "Candy Apple's"? Shouldn't it be plural?

I guess Cathy is referring to herself as the "Candy Apple," since she is using the possessive ('s) rather than the plural.

Most studios hire professionals to do choreography, Abby herself hires them a lot, like in example Molly Long.

I think its great Cathy beat Abby several times, Cathy is the true professional here and she doesn't commit fraud neither!

And Cathy has what Abby will never ever have, CLASS.
