How about a METH HEAD zombie film?

We've had numerous zombie films. We just had radiated mutant psychos who act like zombies. What about a meth clinic who mistakenly releases all their meth addicts onto the streets of an abandobed Detroit-esque ghetto and a wayward group of people run into them?

Hardcore drug users are scary. Look at meth users pics on Google. The before/after pictures are pretty unsettling. Plus, they tear at their own faces and skin, thinking bugs are crawling underneath. Imagine ten of them coming at you.

Now all we need is a well-written plot with true GOOD acting to make it stick. CD unfortunately didn't do it, save for the scary environment.

What do you all think? Psycho meth addicts. Sounds good to me.

Like skinny Pete said in Breaking Bad..." Dude it doesn't matter what your job was before you were dead. When you're a zombie you're a Zombie". Or something to hat effect.

A meth head turned into a zombie would no longer be tweaking. In fact that would make no sense because a tweaker zombie wouldn't want to eat...lol

I'm referring to actual meth addicts, not meth addicts turned into zombies. Don't know where you got that idea...

As I said, meth heads are frighteningly irrational, psychotic people whose brains have been robbed much like the radiation victims in CD.

Sorry, I misread your post...but the movie you are describing sounds like "Spun" to me....sans the actual walking dead

From the descriptions of Spun and Winters Bone, they appear to be dramas/comedies. I'm referring to an actual horror/suspense film where meth addicts run rampant like the mutants in CD, and viciously HUNT DOWN the main characters.

I can't remember if that's been done yet.

IN a similar vein would be a cool little indie called COOKERS which is about three meth heads/cookers who grow increasingly paranoid and hallucinatory. It doesn't end well.

'Exit Speed' is kind of like that, a biker gang of meth addicts terrorize people traveling on a bus, the people end up holing up in a junkyard and have to fend the bikers off.
