So was Titanic disrespectful to all the victims of the sinking? Or Pearl Harbor? Pompeii?

I don't know about disrespect but yeah, it's a third-rate movie made for idiots who find Paranormal Activity scary.

So what about World War 2 comedy movies? Nazi zombie movies and videos games? What about a Titanic inflatable slide? The Stalker video games?

If anything, this movie regained interest in the real topic.

I was beginning to think I was the only person who thought this. Making a stupid horror movie with the victims of a real life tragedy portrayed as mutants is disgusting. It is cheap and trivialises the effects of the incident which will be felt for generations to come. It is still in living memory, unlike Titanic and (almost) the the great wars.

By the way, I haven't watched this trash and have no intention of doing so, I just wanted to see if anyone else had any decency.

Then don't watch it? It's very simple.

I watched the film and somewhat enjoyed it, but I totally agree with you. This film is an enormous insult to the people whose lives were destroyed by the disaster.
