Whatever happened to Daniela Bobadilla?

Its as if her character never existed was this show too erotic for her to bear or something unless if you know Charlie Sheen well enough he probably scared her off she is 21.

she really got the shaft. i wished we'd gotten more of Sam. i felt plot lines involving Charlie's womanizing and excessive drinking clashing with his trying to set a good example for his daughter would have been a fascinating direction to take the show in. maybe Jen ends up imprisoned in Mexico with the drug dealer she was seeing (or because of her relationship with him) and since Charlie has to take custody of Sam, he struggles to clean up his act and make a good living environment for her.

That would be great for the next 100 episodes.

Daniela and Selma Blair share the same final episode together .... 'Charlie and His Probation Officer's Daughter (S2,E53)'. I find this to be more than just a coincidence .... Outside the public eye, Daniela either 1) was fired with Selma or, 2) voluntarily departed from the show in sympathy for Selma.

I am watching the series in order. I've probably seen them all but not in order so that's how I'm watching it now. I don't think Selma Blair is in any episodes after the one with the English guy from CSI Cyber I think it is. Charlie and Kate Do it For Money or something like that. Bobadilla is definetely in some after that. I did read some articles with interviews of Charlie Sheen back when all this happened. Apparently Blair made some very critical remarks about Sheen's work ethic, like "He's a menace.." Everyone knows he's a diva and is always late, doesn't show up until he feels like it, then bangs out his one take wonders. He told the producers either she goes or I go..." Then later on he backtracked and said that he and the writers, producers wanted to give the people what they wanted, which was Charlie Sheen/Charlie Harper. So after Blair left, the show became more about Charlie and his meltdown and using women and bragging about it with creepy Sean and competing with him as well. The show got a lot sleazier after Blair left. They initially sort of cleaned up Charlie (notice he's all in white in a white room in the pic here) who left the building and Charlie Harper took his place. Gone was the obsession with Kate, which was a reversal of the 2 1/2 Charlie (for the most part). Also gone, the kid, and the dorky Michael. Kate was replaced by Jordan, a perky and naive blonde, who definitely had her darkness and weirdness, but still a more innocent, less cynical type than Kate. But she pretty much got corrupted by the icky, sleazy Sean. So my suspition is that they wanted to change the show up and get rid of Blair and they used her badmouthing Charlie as an excuse. I think she sued them for breach of contract but maybe it setttled because they never followed up the story. So I think Bobadilla was phased out because she didn't fit the new format. I never thought she was funny or given funny material, except the scenes with her friends.

They never did anything with her character anyway, so she might as well not be there. Her appearances were almost always minor, and Charlie's role as a parent was never explored to any meaningful extent.

And I guess with Charlie gradually becoming more and more like his Two and a Half Men character, she didn't fit in anymore.

exactly right !

so there you have it.. my opinion (the correct one)

Ever hear of punctuation? Sheesh...what a mess to try to read.

I thought she was a great character. Her character had some issues but they were never really explored which is too bad.

I loved the series but I didn't like how it became Charlie Harper minus the cargo shorts and Bowling shirts.

But I think I miss the other characters more. Damned shame they only did 100 episodes. I could have stood another 100 or so.

I totally agree. Why did they change him into Charlie Harper? It was so interesting to see him play someone who wanted a relationship and monogamy and had emotions and gentleness.

Have you ever heard of punctuation I heard it might improve the legitimacy of anything you say however you might have to spend whole seconds learning such therefore it might be too difficult for your clearly expressed brain capacity do you disagree or..

I can't do this..

But that's how your post looks like.

LEARN SOME GOD DAMN PUNCTUATION!!

(This IS 'Anger Management' forum, so I figured it'd be appropriate to let off some honest steam)
