This show is just as funny as 2 and a Half Men was
Maybe even funnier because it doesn't have John Cryer in it being a bitch.

shareJohn cryer is a good actor I think. He's funny in two and a half men
shareNowhere near as good as Two and a Half Men. BUT it was one of the better sitcoms in years.

HARUMPH!share
If by that you mean 'not in the slightest', then yes, I agree.
shareCompletely lost interest once selma blair was gone from the show.
shareThat's an interesting observation, because I REALLY, really hate John Cryer. I mean, I have nothing against the actor personally, it's just her.. whops, I mean, his screen 'presence', such as it is, his voice, his mannerisms, his face, his body language, his hairstyle, .. well, everything about him just makes me want to speedvomit while strangling him with his own belt or something.
I don't know what about him is so repulsive, but his behaviour and character in that show really adds to the effect.
That makes him a perfect opposite to Charlie's easy-going, charismatic bachelor, and I can never have any sympathy for his character, who is also manipulative, sneaky, and downright evil and a liar.
Any time something bad happens to him, the viewer can enjoy it thoroughly without any guilt, because he's such a horrible entity and an annoying character in the show.
Two and a Half Men was a really fun and funny, charismatic, enjoyable show that was always great to watch, with great writing and surprisingly interesting stories - not to mention hilarious characters, like Bertha (which annoyed me a bit, because she always won against Charlie, and never lost, even though she's old, fat and ugly - the power of 'equality', I suppose... sigh)
This show tries to be 'as funny', but never succeeds.
Anger Management can be somewhat enjoyable, but it never reaches the levels of hilarity or genius as Two and a Half Men was - so nope, definitely NOT as funny or as good on any level.
If you have nothing else to do, it passes off as some kind of entertainment, but there has to be better things to do in life, no matter who you are.
Dang it, another waste of a whole dollar in a thrift store..
