Perfect Cast

This really is the most perfect cast I can think of for this movie. Especially the casting of Jennifer Coolidge. I totally pictured her while I was reading this book!

I agree! Looks good! I love Keri Russell and JJ Fields. And Jane Seymour too! Woo hoo! I have this book on my to read list- is it as good as it looks?

Yes, the book is pretty good. The end is a little cheesy, but its what youd expect. Overall, I enjoyed it and am excited to see the movie!

Cool! I've already started the book and I'm enjoying it so far- it's light and fluffy and fun. At first I thought it was going to be all about Jane and the gardener but now it seems Nobley is becoming more of an interest. Can't wait to find out how it ends!

Awwwwww.... I LOVED the ending. I really didn't know which way it was going to go with the love triangle. I thought Martin was going to be the one at first (and I was disappointed at this idea) since he was the modern day guy and more realistic for Jane. But that little twist was awesome! I didn't see it coming! And then when Martin AND Nobley showed up at the airport I really thought she was going to say goodbye to both of them and that would be the end- and I would have been SO disappointed if that happened. How cute that Nobley bought a ticket and surprised her by sitting down next to her. Great ending to a sweet story! So happy he'll be played by JJ Field who I have a crush on and he's had a trend of playing the bad guy in films lately. Will be great to see him as the good guy! Can't wait for the movie!

I remember reading a while back that Shannon Hale couldn't make up her mind which man Jane would end up with--for a while it was Martin, but eventually she settled on Mr. Nobley. Which I'm satisfied with. :) And I love J. J. Feild. I pictured Mr. Nobley as Matthew Macfadyen, but I'm just happy he won't be played by Colin Firth... I've never been able to get into that guy...

I was actually hoping for James McAvoy in this, but I guess it's a bit down the radar for him. Bummer. Hope it turns out as great as the book. I read it the first time at a wrestling match, and got lots of strange looks as I laughed out loud!

Just found out today this was being made into a movie. Made me *squeeeee* a little when I read the cast list! Jennifer Coolidge was BORN to play this role!
