I attempted to watch it a couple of times when I was sick and only lasted the first ten minutes. I'll eventually get to it, but someone just tell me the jest. I hate surprises and usually read Wikipedia before I go to a film. Kind of like When Harry Met Sally where he reads the last page. Weird, I know. Thanks.

shareRead the book! It's not very long and so enjoyable!!! I just watched the movie and was bitterly disappointed. The book is a thousand times better.
shareJane is obsessed with Jane Austen so she uses her life savings to go to a reenactment kind of thing to live out her Austen fantasies. There are other guests and also actors and each lady is promised "romance" but no touching from the gentlemen in question. Jane gets the copper package so she is basically getting crappy stuff while the other guests get the better rooms, dresses, back stories. Jane immediately gets annoyed with the "Darcy" type actor and goes for the "Wickham" stable boy. But she starts to have feelings for "Darcy" and in the end finds out that "Wickham" was who she was assigned to be romanced by while we all thought it was "Darcy." They both follow her to the airport for different reasons and she leaves to go home after telling them off. At home "Darcy" shows up and confesses he was never acting and they kiss. The End.
