One of my favorite touches is that Rupert Vansittart played Mr. Wattlesbrook (The husband of Jane Seymour's character). He played Mr Hurst in the version of P&P that Jane is always watching. In fact, his character is like an amped up version of Mr. Hurst--more lazily sprawling, ruder, and uninvolved in the proceedings going on in the drawing room each night. (For anyone that doesn't remember or know, Mr. Hurst is the husband of one of Mr. Darcy's horrid sisters.)

Yes, I liked that 'detail' too

Wow. The Ehle P+P was so long ago (though I don't think of it as old) that I didn't even recognize him with the extra decades on him. Good catch!
