Always thought he handled his role of Gaius Baltar on Battlestar Galactica with a lot of humor, but this is the only comedy of his that I've seen besides Reuniting the Rubins. He is as hilarious as he is charming! Heck with those young guys, if I were Jane, I'd have saved the Colonel from the Charming clutches of Miss Elizabeth!

He was also pretty funny in Eureka season whatever-it-was. I've now seen him in some very different roles (even in an episode of Midsomer Murders) and must say he is a pretty versatile actor.
I remember James Callis most from Bridget Jones' series where he plays her best friend.
Loved him in Austenland, tho I thought the story was rushed, hackney edited. This could have been a real hoot had the film been edited properly.
