Very funny
Not a great plot, but many funny scenes. If you're on the fence, I say it's worth seeing.

shareI agree. I laughed through the entire thing. It's meant to be a sweet, silly ride for a female target market. I've seen so many reviewers who apparently didn't get that fact. Plus, have they seen Napoleon Dynamite?
It's like that . . . but for girls.
It's a good comparison.
If you are a woman of that age and have had moments of singledom, this movie was made with you in mind.
It was funny in a tongue in cheek kind of way and didn't take itself too seriously.
I thought the cast was hilarious.
The plot was fine. It was clearly meant to be a silly rom-com. Saying it wasn't better assumes that it was trying to be Oscar contender. Some films are just meant to be silly and fun.
shareVery entertaining. As others have noted, it didn't take itself too seriously. My theater was packed. A fun ride. Stay for the end credits for some extra laughs.
shareI have to agree, saw it today, and whenever I think of certain parts I have to stop myself from busting out laughing.
on top of the 3 lead actors (who were amazing), and of course Jennifer Coolidge was funny (although I have to say, her character was beginning to get on my nerves with her fake accent)
but I loved Georgia King as Lady Amelia, I loved her character's attempt at creating a character, where towards the end her character started to overact and started bouncing around.
I loved the joke about Martin getting a job in the Hobbit
I also loved JJ Feild's legs ;P
I've only just seen it and I thought it was very funny. - particularly the horseback scene when Jane was trying to ride
