Jesus Criminy Crawford was just an unhappy wretch of a person

Talk about rotten to the core...that woman seemed miserable, a totally shallow, narcissistic, controlling...she should never have been allowed children. As far as I understand here..she has to be, far and away, one of the worst people to ever grace the silver screen...I had no idea she was that messed up.

A rather despicable, petty person. I read Mommie Dearest years ago, and even if only 1/4 of it is true, it’s quite damning of her.

Just the fact that she actually stood in for Christina on her soap while she recovered from emergency surgery shows how desperate she was and how much she lacked self-awareness.

According to a mentally unstable daughter cashing in on a sensational book, a silly movie, and this silly series. You don't know what she was really like. The "Joan Crawford" people think they know is just a pop culture character.
