It was good.. Helps if you are familiar with Whatever happened to Baby Jane, but the backstory is good too.

It's very good! I watched the pilot tonight and am eagerly awaiting the next episode. Being a firm nerd,
I've seen "Whatever Happened to Baby Jane', so this should be fascinating.

Depends on what you want. If you're looking for a cartoonish, gay-campy version of Davis and Crawford, you'll probably like it. If you would prefer something resembling the real world and the real people, look elsewhere.

It was very good - better than I expected. Though I do think Faye Dunaway did a better Joan Crawford in 1981 ("Mommie Dearest"), Lange comes in a very close second - and is a much better actress. I'm still trying to get used to Sarandon as Davis; I'm still seeing Sarandon in the character.

However, the story, the script, the production is excellent. I think you will enjoy it.

I also still see Sarandon in a character. She is not powerful enough to star next to Lange.
