I LOVE buying my fave shows from Amazon.co.uk to watch here in the U.S! Unfortunately, postage rates soared in the past year or two.
Happily, there is also a nice savings: If you buy a DVD set from Amazon as the seller, not the smaller independent ones, you will have nearly 20% taken off the list price when you put an item in your cart. The prices shown include UK VAT, which Americans do not pay. So that portion will be removed for you.
No idea why the 'little guys' are allowed to collect VAT from Americans. I found that out the hard way.
