The lyric of "I'll Make Love to You" that the Bellas were singing was "...and I'll hold you tight."

Which means that if Jesse was coming in on the "I" in "I'll" to sing "and 'I' guess that's just the woman in you that brings out the man in me..." then the Bellas got cheated. However, if he came in on the word "and," then they won fairly because the rules that you can't add suffixes weren't adhered to.

However, when Becca starts No Diggety, the Bellas win because it's is the contraction of it is, Becca actually came in the way she was supposed to when she came in on the "It" of "it feels like the first time and just added the 's.

The word that matters is whichever one the "challenger" chooses to start from and with, which was "and" in this case, right?

Couldn't you do something less drastic than sleeping with her? Couldn't you just kill her?

This one didnt make sense in the movie, Beca asked if she could use any song, and was told yes, yet they lose ??? Ive watched it over and over again, I didnt see why they would be disqualified

Because the word she was supposed to match was "it", and the word that was in the song that she used was "it's"

"IT feels like the first time..." vs. "IT'S going down, fade to Blackstreet..."

I don't get why the stoner girl gets cut off? She uses the away from 'fire away' in hit me with your best shot and links to 'I dream away' in It must have been love?

How was that wrong?

Apparently they joined in while the Bella's were singing No Diggity. That disqualified them.

A big mess up was the "Madonna" group didnt get "cut off" so the trebelmakers didnt win, they just probably cut the scene and forgot to explain that the madonna group got cut

The stoner girl is cut because the song she sings is from 1990 when the category is ladies of the 80s.

I assume she got cut off because she forgot the words to the song and kind of trailed off.
